I cannot imagine who can fail to love this song and video, especially after reading this article on Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Some people, alas, are not ready to feel.
I agree with 42, Jeff: it's astonishing you'd ever go in for such treacle. You probably just like them since the plural form of "zero" is nonstandardized.
The song and the video are a very fine æsthetic accomplishment, not unlike Todd Haynes's equally unironic pæan to Douglas Sirk in Far from Heaven. I also admire the mythology that the band is generating, as described in the article.
