It wasn't just the opening 9 minutes, Letterman skewered him throughout the show. I don't think I've ever seen Olbermann have so much fun.

The clip that is available online is nine minutes of highlights. What is remarkable is that the normally apolitical Letterman felt licensed to devote his entire show to destroying McCain's credibility and character. The cut to the live feed from Katie Couric's studio is the end. McCain's week of shenanigans, climaxed here, has made him a national laughing stock.
