I am Hussein

Here is a link to the original 'I am Hussein' manifesto of February 28, 2008. Meanwhile, I am doing two brief interviews at MSNBC tomorrow morning at 9.30 and 11.00 a.m. ET. You can also join the 'I am Hussein' Facebook group.

If you're here for the first time, welcome. Here are some non-political greatest hits from my blog:

Dizzee Rascal
Burger King
My defence of gangsta rap
The Sopranos' finale

If you happen to be a fan of David Byrne, use the search box on the right. I blog about his work on a regular basis. Thanks for visiting.

I just saw Jeff on msnbc about this site. And saw the article this weekend in the NY times.
I belong to Obama's website and have posted for a while as
VW Hussein Cat
We must show solidarity and not let the right turn this man's name into a smear.
Obama should be proud of his name and not let the right use it as a weapon of fear. Fear of the other.
Thank you Jeff.
We are all Hussein.

Remember all during the first gulf war and the beginning of this one, they never referred to Saddam as Saddam Hussein because they didn't want to confuse the public between him and King Hussein of Jordan, a *good* Hussein.

Good Job Cuz,
Gail Hussein

I know many people named 'Jeff' and "Strabone" sounds like it could be the surname of a nice Italian-American family. The names "Barack" and "Obama" do not come across as names typical to American presidents especially when the semi-familiar and not necessarily good-will-generating name "Hussein" is inserted between them. On top of this, Sen. Obama's friends all seem to be of questionable backgrounds. I'm afraid all this leads up to a second place finish in this year's presidential race.

Great work, count me in. I am Hussein also! It is time to stand up the hate and fear the consevative talk show hosts use to manipulate their viewer/listeners.

Hey Flatwater!

Your comments reveal your true identity, Billy Bob White. Come on, come out of the closet and share your
racist, xenophobic self. You know you want to.(sic)

Yours truly,
